Dr. M.J. SRIDHAR
Dr. M.J. SRIDHAR, is an
Industrial and Organizational Behaviorist. He has worked
in organizations like, Administrative Staff College of
India, Bangalore University, National Institute of Rural
Development (Govt. of India), HMT Limited and Kirloskar
Electric Company Limited. He has over 25 years of organizational
experience in HRD, IR & Personnel, Organizational
Development, Training and Development, Psychological Testing
and Organizational Research and Surveys.
Dr. Sridhar received his Doctoral Degree in the area of
Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Bangalore
University. For a short stint, he associated with the
activities of B.C. Research in Vancouver, Canada.
Dr. Sridhar on his individual efforts set up ERMG Management
Consulting Pvt Ltd in the year 1994. The organization’s
growth was rapid and today it is a full fledged establishment
with more than forty professional staff working in a highly
sophisticated IT environment. Later, in the year 1996,
he set up the Bangalore Academy of Human Assessment (BAHA)
which was a pioneering effort in the field of Training
and Organization Development and Psychological Testing
and Human Assessments.
In his capacity as the Managing Director of these two
companies, Dr Sridhar has undertaken consultancy assignments
in a number of organizations in Bangalore on issues such
as, Organizational Development, Training and Development,
Psychological Testing and Organizational Research and
Surveys. He has conducted several behavioral training
programs for a number of software companies in India and
has trained over 6000 professionals.
He is an HR strategist / management professional and a
thinker of depth. As a management consultant he has applied
his conceptual skills combined with a systematic and holistic
approach to solve many organizational problems. He has
always continuously questioned underlying assumptions
and has the conviction necessary to bring about systematic
and positive changes in organizations.
His ability to integrate managerial, technical and behavioral
perspectives, combined with skills in understanding and
diagnosing human processes has helped many corporates
to achieve their best performance levels.
He is a member of National Institute of Personnel Management,
Execitve Committee member of Indian Society of Training
& Development (Karnataka Chapter), Joint Secretary,
Indian Society of Organizational Behavior and member of
other professional bodies.
He has contributed to the field of Organizational Behavior
/ Management and HRD by publishing over 50 research and
conceptual papers in India and abroad.
For the past 6 years he is a consultant to a number of
organisations in Bangalore on HR related issues such as,
Organizational Development, Training and Development,
Psychological Testing and Organizational Research and
Surveys. He conducts many Behavioral training programs
for a number of Software companies in India.
He is an accredited Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
user from Otto Kreoger.
