Required Skills:
. Minimum 5 years application and 2 years Websphere portal server experience preferred.
. Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server/Portal Server.
. Prior Internationalization and Localization experience is needed.
. Experience in designing/development of frameworks is preferred.
. Deep technical knowledge of the following is required: Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, HTML, Struts Framework (or other similar frameworks), UML/Rational Rose, XML, Oracle (in terms of data access) and ClearCase.
. Strong client management skills, excellent communication skills and strong teamworking are required.
Desired Skills:
. Experience with IBM Websphere Application Server
. Experience with Tivoli Director Server
Responsibilities:
Performs analysis, design, programming, and programmer testing on smaller scale development projects, including enhancements to existing applications. May work independently or oversee the work of other, comparably or less senior Applications Development staff on a project basis. Writes SDLC documents as required for these projects.
Works as a team member of a multidisciplinary project team on software development projects of any scale as an individual contributor representing Applications Development. Team member and role responsibilities include:
1. Responsible for on schedule completion of analysis, design, programming and programmer testing and any other tasks as assigned. Keeps lead developer apprised of status on assigned tasks at all times.
2. Attends and participates in team meetings as required.
3. Contributes to project definition, business requirements, design and development project phases as required.
4. Contributes to creation of project plans for design, programming and programmer testing.
5. Contributes to the writing and review of SDLC documents for design and development phases.
